Churches in the immediate area include First
Christian Church, Most Pure Heart of Mary, St. David’s Episcopal Church,
Faith Lutheran Church, First Southern Baptist Church and
Seabrook UCC Congreational. First
Christian Church provides a vesper service once a month and Bible study weekly at the
apartments.

The building is safe with doorbell
intercom system entrance and emergency call buttons
in the 120 independent living units. The
apartments have wall-to-wall carpeting, mini blinds, individually
controlled heat and air conditioning.
The kitchen has a range and refrigerator.
Laundry facilities, beauty salon, recreation room, exercise room
and library are provided on the first floor.
Transportation to shopping and noon meals are
available.

Application for residence at First Apartments may be made at the office, just inside the main entrance. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through
Friday.

We think you’ll be surprised at how reasonable
your living costs will be! First
Apartments are designed to meet the needs of retirees
over 62 with modest incomes. We take pride in providing this service and regularly survey other housing costs in Topeka to make
sure we are meeting the need of retirees with limited incomes. No
entry fees are charged. Our
monthly rent also includes utility and maintenance cost.
Applicants are encouraged to inquire about the availability of
rent subsidy for persons whose annual income meets government
requirements. First
Apartments do not discriminate due to race, religion,
