There's a place for Children at FCC

A kid's program is offered every Sunday morning for children 3 years of age through the 5th grade. Kid's worship has a Bible story each week along with fun Bible games and projects. Veggie Tales and other Christian videos are used to help teach Christian Values. It is offered during the 8:45 a.m. worship hour (immediately following the reading of the Scripture) and at the contemporary service (following the Sunday morning prayer). The children meet in the Sanctuary basement and return to the sanctuary at the close of the worship service.

Our Kid's Worship program is directed by Donna Schultz, Associate Minister for Children & Youth.  Middle School and High School youth can volunteer to serve as small group leaders. For more information contact Donna at the church office. (785) 272-4290

Nursery
General Information
The mission of the nursery is to provide a safe, loving, fun, and soothing environment for both you and your child. The nursery is located conveniently on the main floor of the church, just down from Unity Hall. On Sunday mornings, the nursery will open 15 minutes prior to the 8:45 worship service and close approximately 15-20 minutes after the 11:10 service.
 
Illness
For the health of all our children we ask that parents refrain from leaving their children in the nursery if they have been sick or had a fever within the previous 24 hours. No medication will be given to any child in the nursery. Please report any allergies to nursery staff.
 
CrossWalk Cafè
Sunday Breakfast is provided Sunday mornings from 9:45 am - 10:10 am in the northern pod of the children's center.  Children, youth, and adults are welcome to fellowship over a breakfast of biscuits & gravy, waffles, sausage, French toast sticks, and assorted cold cereals. The CrossWalk Cafè coordinator is Scott Howard.
