Our Ministerial Staff

James D. McCollough  began his ministry with First Christian Church on August 1, 1990. Jim is a native of Missouri, a graduate of Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri and St. Paul School of Theology in Kansas City.  He received his Doctor of Ministry degree from San Francisco Theology Seminary.  Placing emphasis on preaching and teaching have been his special concerns as a pastor.  Jim is married to Charlotte McCollough and they have two adult sons, Dwight and Andrew and a granddaughter, Mellie.

Connie Skinner joined our ministry team as Associate Minister on July 1, 2000.  She has completed Education for Ministry (EFM) as provided and administered by the School of Theology, the University of the South.  She has been a licensed minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Kansas since 1994.  Her ministries focus on pastoral care and  small groups..  She is married to Ray and they have three adult children, Jenny, Jeff and Tim.

 

Donna Schultz has been on our staff since July 1997, as the Director of Children and Youth Ministries.  Donna attended college in Manhattan at Kansas State University where she earned a Bachelor Of Arts and a Master of Arts.  She has been a licensed minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Kansas since 1992.  Donna has over ten years experience in the areas of Children's and Youth ministry in the Kansas region.  Donna is married to Scott Howard and they have four children together, Andrew, Alyssa, Rain, and Lake.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Brett Martin joined our staff as Associate Minister to Young Adults and Families on January 1, 2006.  He has earned degrees from the University of Kansas and Emmanuel School of Religion in Johnson City, TN.  Brett is a licensed minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Kansas and is currently pursuing ordination.  His ministry focuses on discipleship among young adults and their families.  Brett is married to Sara.  They have two young children, Lily and Jack.
